Le tribunal correctionnel de Dar El Beida a prononcé aujourd’hui, jeudi, une peine de 5 ans de prison ferme à l’encontre de l’écrivain algérien Boualem Sansal, actuellement en détention. Il a également été condamné à une amende de 500 000 dinars algériens et à la confiscation de tous les biens saisis.
Concernant l’action civile, le tribunal a accepté la constitution de la Trésorerie Publique en tant que partie civile et a réservé ses droits.
La sentence a été prononcée à l’encontre de l’accusé Boualem Sansal, âgé de 76 ans, pour des chefs d’accusation tels que : atteinte à l’unité nationale, outrage à un corps constitué, actions susceptibles de nuire à l’économie nationale, possession de vidéos et de publications menaçant la sécurité et la stabilité nationale, diffamation et injure envers l’Armée Nationale Populaire, diffusion intentionnelle de fausses informations susceptibles de porter atteinte à l’ordre public et à la sécurité publique, possession et diffusion de publications, documents et vidéos de nature à porter atteinte à l’unité nationale. ⚖️ Le procureur avait requis une peine de 10 ans de prison ferme et une amende d’un million de dinars.
Lors de l’audience, l’accusé a fermement nié les accusations portées contre lui pendant l’enquête. Il a affirmé n’avoir jamais eu l’intention de nuire à la nation ou aux institutions de l’État. 🤔
