Alger – Fiat Algérie a récemment lancé un avertissement officiel concernant des tentatives d’escroquerie et de fraude ciblant ses clients. Des individus se font passer pour des représentants commerciaux de la marque, contactant des clients par téléphone pour leur demander leurs coordonnées bancaires, en échange d’une livraison rapide de leur véhicule.
Dans un communiqué, Fiat Algérie a précisé : « Fiat Algérie a constaté ces derniers jours des agissements frauduleux perpétrés par des individus se faisant passer pour des représentants commerciaux de la marque. Ces personnes contactent les clients par téléphone pour leur demander leurs identifiants bancaires, en leur promettant une livraison rapide de leur voiture ».
Fiat Algérie tient à alerter ses clients et à les informer que « ces appels ne proviennent pas du réseau officiel de Fiat Algérie et constituent des tentatives d’escroquerie et de fraude visant à obtenir des informations personnelles ou des paiements frauduleux ».
L’entreprise a réaffirmé son engagement total à protéger les données de ses clients, conformément à la loi n° 18-07 relative à la protection des personnes physiques dans le traitement des données à caractère personnel. Elle a également souligné qu’elle travaillait en coordination avec les autorités compétentes afin de « lutter contre les manifestations de fraude et d’usurpation d’identité qui nuisent à la confiance du consommateur envers la marque ».
